Baie Finn (2) Lake Topaz

Close to the end of  the Baie Finn fiord, where we anchored, is a trail leading up to Lake Topaz. This remote pristine lake is special.  It has no power boats, can't  hardly be any boats of any kind at all that uses this lake on a regular basis.

We decided to hop in to the dingy and take the trail to the lake.
Taking the dinghy to the trail head.

On the trail, is WAS that steep.

WOW!  This was an exceptional place.  We initially had the entire lake to ourselves.

After a long hike up, on a kind of hot day, it was pure ecstasy  to dive into the crystal blue waters and cool down.  We swam and took in the sights for over two hours.

Daisy even went in and had a nice swim.

What a fantastic place and a great memory
