Rideau Canal to Kingston

One of the highly anticipated sections of our trip was the Rideau Canal.  This canal goes from Ottawa   Canada at the north end to Kingston on the south, which is located on the north Eastern corner of Lake Ontario.  The Canal did not disappoint at all.  It was charming, quiet, peaceful, beautiful and so much more.  In fact, I am struggling as to how to describe the waters.  Sections were so calm and full of small medium and large islands, it was difficult to navigate at times.  We traveled as slow as we could to each lock.  We did travel in a nice small group and it was fun.

We made our way to Trenton, we anchored out one night on our way, and it was a perfect night, had a great grilled dinner. Plain awesome.

Perhaps the best (and newest) marina of the trip.  Trenton, Ontario Ca..  Excellent showers, captains area, staff, etc.  other marinas could use this as a starting point,
